Balancing Act Bookkeeping was started in 2006 when two friends and former colleagues of HMSO decided to start up in business together Simon Nobbs is a fully qualified CIMA accountant (ACMA) and Barry Arthur is a qualified Accounting Technician (MAAT).

After seeing the business establish itself, Barry retired in 2011, and Simon continued to build BABL and develop it.

Clients are drawn from many industry sectors and of varying sizes, but we tend to specialise in small professional and service businesses. We have charities and companies as well as sole-traders and partnerships as clients.
